On
the 15th February, Ice Fusion left St. Colman's College at 6:30 am to
beat the morning traffic into Galway City. On arrival, some serious
work was done on our stand. Our car was first up against The Vipers.
With Brian McDermott's super reactions we sent The Vipers viping. Our
team jackets made their first appearance and proved quite popular with
the spectators. After a long day the results wher announced and Ice
Fusion picked up the award for best website. That is Icefusionf1.com
desinged by me, Alan Benson. The team came second overall in the senior
category and progress with another 7 senior teams to the national final.
A few parody races toke place after the serious races. A very popular
one was the overall Teacher/Student Challenge. Here is our input to
that race.
